Maxim Bozhilov doesn’t need much introduction in the Bulgarian community. A journalist of 40 years, founder, editor and publisher of Bulgarian Horizons, he also manages three Bulgarian radio programs in Canada. The newspaper and the radio shows focus on news from the old country, but also on history and culture. Maxim tells the personal stories of generations Bulgarian immigrants to Canada, their struggles to survive and succeed, to preserve and pass on their values, religion, traditions, language and spirit.
